We have had many visitors come to our classroom this week!
1. Mrs. Hurlburt from Dakin Animal Shelter came by to pick up the collection of donations, give us more information about the organization, and to answer all of our questions. It was wonderful to have her visit!
2. Many of these students have worked with him in the past on their storytelling skills, but this time, John Porcino is putting a different spin on things! We are working on our own “personal journeys,” learning to be more accepting of challenges, and understanding the power of the word “yet.” He will be in our class on Tuesdays and Thursdays in December. There will be a culminating event to share our activities with John, students, and families (date to be determined very soon).
Today we began to learn the process of juggling! It was difficult to capture in a photograph due to the “action” involved 🙂
