There will be a meeting this Thursday, October 5th at 4:30 in 6P to go over the building and planning of our sixth grade Statue of Liberty Scarecrow. We will need help planning, collecting supplies, building, and taking down the scarecrow.
It has been a great start to the year so far! A few highlights so far… We are working towards becoming at “Wonder Certified Classroom” which includes doing activities and lessons around empathy, kindness, and inclusion. Our AmeriCorps volunteers, Lindsay and Cooper, organized a cow brain dissection for today! Though students were squimish at first, all students participated and learned a lot!
Hands down, one of the BEST days of the year!
